Khashayiar
Rapper, Record Producer
Khashayiar is an Iranian musician, songwriter, singer, rapper and music producer. He started playing keyboard and producing beats from 1999 and he started playing piano professionally in 2003. Influenced by his father who is a renowned flamenco guitarist, he always wanted to be a guitarist too, and growing up, he was also influenced heavily by the rock and blues music his mother was playing for him. During his teenage years he found himself making rock, blues and country music, looking up at artists such as Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker, ZZ Top, Marilyn Manson and Kurt Cobain. Eventually he started to play professional classic and electric guitar from 2010 and by 2013 he was an icon in Iranian music scene. He studied music academically and he is graduated from Tehran Conservatory of Music. Khashayiar is responsible for writing and production of numerous Iranian hit songs, including composition and production for some musical Broadways such as “Jochebed” musical. In 2019 he released his debut instrumental album “Float”. Nowadays as a member of Flipside family, he is working on his second album as well as writing and producing for some major Iranian artists. |
