1. What are your main impulses to write about music?
My ultimate goal in writing music is to make people realize and reminisce about their past journey and to act as voice for them to share their own stories to others. With the goals set across, I’ve decided to write my own real life stories with a hope that they will find and feel the similar emotional state that I’ve been facing during every encounter. I always believe that even though everyone will be facing something that creates a scar deep down in their heart but the emotional state created will never be different as compared to others. During the release of all my songs, I’ve always received comments or messages asking why I am able to write their stories and how come I know exactly how they feel during that period of time. With all those, I’m really glad and delighted that I am able to create a voice for them which give me the courage and motivation for me to excel and improve further. Last but not least in the other hand, with the passion and love about music, I believe we shouldn’t be confining ourselves within a box. We should use our passion, love and believe to create another boundary in music that brings music to the next level. Remember there is no right or wrong answer in how music should be created. With all these, it created my second EP as "MELVOLUTION”. 2. Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions. Yes I do perform in different functions, concerts and events since young when I step into the Arts industry. However as a Singer, I’ve performed twice during my songs promotion for my first EP “Breakthrough”. 3. How do you handle mistakes during a performance? Making a mistake is normal for all performers on stage, so we shouldn’t be dwelling on the mistakes but rather just laughing at it. However as a performer we should know how to handle the situation well. Sometime we just got to know and feel the crowd in order to feel at ease. As a performer myself, I’ve always treat everyone who came to view or support as a friend of mine and a real music lover. I will always bring down the tense atmosphere around to the lowest till both parties are comfortable in. ![]()
4. What advice would you give to beginners in music industry?
Honestly music industry is not as simple as what everyone thought of. There will be time where you will lose hope and your motivation will be diminished. However I believe if you are ready for the industry and not forgetting about your passion and love in music, you will be someone in no time. Time and patient will be the keys to take note of if you want achievement in music industry. Passion and love will be the keys, if you want everyone to appreciate and enjoy the music you have created wholeheartedly. 5. We know besides being a singer and songwriter, you are a dancer and choreographer too. Tell us about that. During my younger age, I’ve been contemplating whether to choose Dance or Singing as profession. However I’ve decided to choose Dance as a profession to look forward to as I love the way our body moves while telling a deep story in within but in the other hand not forgetting having skills and knowledge in singing. After all these years of training, performing and teaching as a Dancers and Choreographers for all various Concerts and Events, sadly I’ve reached to a point where I started to feel the loss of passion in Choreographing. It seems to be so commercialize and became a norm in life. One day it sparks up my thoughts that I’ve another profession that I wanted to pursue since young. And it brings my love in arts to the next level and reborn my creativity. Due to this entire journey in life, I’m currently here as a Singer / Dancers and a Song writer.
